The most corrosion resistance martensitic grade EN 1.4122, DIN X39CrMo17-1 ( X35CrMo17 ) offers good mechanical properities and wear resistance. It's particularly applied in the manufacturing of surgical instruments, blades, mechanical parts like retaining rings, machine and pump construction.
